17th Annual O'Reilly Thunder Valley Fun Ford Weekend Nationals August 1, 2008 - August 3, 2008 Ford enthusiasts from all over will descend upon the Bristol Dragway for the 17th Annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Thunder Valley Fun Ford Weekend Nationals, August 1-3.  Some of the fastest Fords around will be in town to make a little noise in Thunder Valley.  Be sure to catch the lightning fast Probe Industries Pro category, a division that always puts down big numbers.  Also in action will be Precision Turbo Outlaw 10.5, ProCharger Renegade, Sean Hyland Motorsports/American Racing Headers Mod Comp, Ford Racing/RPM Outlet Ultra Stang, JDM Tough Truck, Street Stang, and Street Bandit. If the action on the track is not enough excitement, fans can head over to the Fun Ford Weekend Car Show Spectacular presented by UPR Products.  Participants and spectators can enjoy a parking lot full of the hottest Ford show cars and drag cars.  In addition, Ford Motor Company's newest project vehicles will be on display.  Ford enthusiasts will also want to head over to the Manufacturer's Midway and Swap Meet to find just the right parts for their car. One of the major highlights of the Thunder Valley Fun Ford Weekend is the Tremec Transmission True Street cruise.  The vehicles in this class begin at Bristol Dragway and follow a police escort on a predetermined route throughout the local area.  Along the way, participants will make a lap around Bristol Motor Speedway.  Tickets for Friday are $10, and $25 on both Saturday and Sunday.  A combo ticket good for admission on Saturday and Sunday is available for $35.  Kids 10 and under are free.
