NHRA Junior Drag Racing League Eastern Conference Final

Thunder Valley hosts the future of drag racing during the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League Eastern Conference Finals.
Aspiring drag racers, ages 8-18, from across the country will come to Bristol hoping to hone their skills on the national stage. A future NHRA World Champion may get the first national event win of his or her career in Thunder Valley.
Add the Huddleston Performance Jr. Dragster Nationals presented by Mike Bos and various fun races occurring during the days leading in to the Eastern Conference Finals and this becomes one of the greatest weeks of Jr. Dragster racing anywhere.
The event is expected to attract racers from across the East Coast and abroad. Race champions in 2012 represented Louisiana, Ohio, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama and Indiana. One of Bristol Dragway’s regular competitors, Carson Brown, claimed the 11-year-old category.
Bristol Dragway first hosted the Eastern Conference Finals in 2004 and the Western Conference Finals have been at Bandimere Speedway since NHRA adopted the Eastern/Western format in 2000. Competitors race for individual and team honors at the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing League Eastern and Western Conference Finals.
