The 2007 Sunoco Thunder Valley Shootouts season will consist of three non-point races.  The first two events will be held on back-to-back Saturdays, September 8 and 15, with the final race running on Saturday, October 6.  Each event will include a Friday afternoon Test and Tune session. 

These events will feature strong purses and even stronger prizes for the winners.  Bristol Dragway officials want to use the 2007 races as opportunities to ensure the quality of racing in Thunder Valley is at its greatest.  The new classes, spectacular promotions and action-packed racing programs designed for 2007 will be introduced at these races.  Officials will determine what additions and changes should be made to give fans and competitors the best bang for their buck.  Feedback from drivers and spectators will be welcomed and Bristol Dragway will use these suggestions to make 2008 the best year ever in Thunder Valley.    

Drivers who paid for memberships and reserved parking spaces for the 2007 season will receive reimbursement checks in the mail.  In addition, those drivers that did select a parking space for this season will be able to use that spot for both events.  No parking spaces will be released at the end of the year and everyone will be able to purchase the same spot for 2008.  By showing their ticket from the March 31 Test and Tune, drivers will be allowed to participate in the Friday, September 14 Test and Tune for free.
