Bristol Dragway will send 35 drivers to compete in the 2007 edition of the Summit Bracket Finals set for Oct. 4-6 at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Cecil, Ga.

Dragway officials will send 15 Super Pro drivers (electronics), 15 Pro drivers (non-electronics), three Sportsman competitors and two Pro Bike riders.

The results from the Sept. 8 Sunoco Thunder Valley Shootouts event and 2006 final season standings will be used to determine which drivers will make the trip to compete in the finals.

In both Super Pro and Pro, drivers that place first through eighth at the Sept. 8 race will be invited to the finals.  The final seven positions will be filled based on last year's points.

In Sportsman, the driver that takes home first at the Sept. 8 event will punch his ticket to race in Georgia.  Points from 2006 will be used to determine the two other drivers that earn invitations.

The winner of the Pro Bike division on Sept. 8 will be racing at the Summit Bracket Finals, as will one rider from the 2006 point standings.

Junior Dragsters in Division 2 will compete in the Jr. Dragster finals Oct. 12-14  at Huntsville Dragway in Alabama.  All Jr. Dragsters that join the Bracket Club will be eligible to participate in the Division 2 Championship race.
