PINKS host Rich Christensen relishes his return to Thunder Valley as PINKS ALL OUT comes to Bristol Dragway July 20-21.

Have you ever wanted to take part in a popular television reality show?

Race fans from across the region will have the opportunity to do just that when Bristol Dragway hosts SPEED Channel's exciting reality show, PINKS ALL-OUT, July 20-21.

Fans will be able to pack the stands and cheer on 350 drivers, each looking for a chance to walk away with $10,000 on the action-packed, thrill-a-minute television show.

Rich Christensen and his PINKS team have invited competitors from across the country to Thunder Valley for the opportunity to clash for money, bragging rights and television exposure.

After his visit to Bristol Dragway's Street Fights last season, Christensen knew Bristol was the perfect place for an episode of PINKS.

"I had such a good experience, I knew I had to come back," said Christensen. "The fans are serious about racing, the layout of the track is great, and the Bristol Dragway crew was professional and treated me well during my stay."

Fans from across the region came to Street Fights to see Christensen, and their enthusiasm played a role in his decision to return.

"When I did my appearance at Street Fights, I was overwhelmed with the number of fans that came to see me; it made an impact," admits Christensen. "The fans in the Bristol area love racing and they support the test and tune format that our show is based on."

He feels the format is the key to the show's success. Most drivers competing on PINKS are average people discovered at drag strips across the country. Fans are drawn to the show because they can easily identify with the characters on the screen.

"I think it is a formula that drag racers and street racers gravitate towards," says Christensen, "and this has given the drag racing people a voice."

The PINKS ALL-OUT format will see drivers compete for the top-prize of $10,000 without the risk of losing their ride, a common fear on a regular episode of PINKS. Christensen and his crew developed the new format to help eliminate the one thing he hates to see on the track.

"ALL-OUT is an anti-sandbagging format. It's that simple," he says.

Fans will be able to see all of the action PINKS ALL-OUT has to offer when Christensen's crew rolls into town.

On Saturday, July 21, gates open at 10 a.m. with time trials at noon. The PINKS crew will review qualifying times to determine which 16 cars will run for the money when PINKS ALL OUT filming begins at dusk. During the event, fans will be treated to the same rousing action that is seen on SPEED Channel each week.

Gates open at noon on Friday, July 20 with the PINKS Test and Tune beginning at 2:30.

Tickets still are available for each day of PINKS action at Bristol Dragway. Spectator admission for Saturday is $20, while Friday's admission is $10. A combo ticket is available for $25. Tickets can be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster.
