Bristol Dragway officials today announced a partnership with Absolute Communications as the agency of record for 2010 events in Thunder Valley.

Absolute, based in Kingsport, Tenn., will provide dragway staff with market research, graphic designs and branding for races at the legendary track.

Both companies are excited about the partnership and expect great results from the relationship.

"We are excited to work with Bristol Dragway to help brand the facility as the premier drag racing venue in the region and as one of the top tracks in the country," says Carolyn Pierson Cook, President and CEO of Absolute Communications. "Our team is already working with the dragway marketing team to get ready for the start of the 2010 season. With a diverse schedule that includes national events, specialty weekends and even a taping of the popular PINKS All Out series, there's sure to be plenty of excitement at Bristol Dragway."

Bristol Dragway President and General Manager Jeff Byrd echoed Cook's comments, saying Absolute's approach is critical in attracting local fans to Thunder Valley.

"We are proud to work with a local firm to produce advertising and marketing campaigns for our dragway events," said Byrd. "We know they understand this region and the best ways to reach the race fans that live here. We look forward to working with the team at Absolute for some time to come."
