Grave Digger, Spiderman Added To Bristol Monster Truck Lineup; Ford Blue Oval Bash Just Around The Corner
Summer has just cranked up in Bristol and Thunder Valley will continue to roar with several exciting events for all gearheads during the month of July.
Everyone loves monster trucks, but this season, fans will have something extra to cheer for during the July 30 Thompson Metal Monster Truck Madness presented by Beef ‘O’Brady’s Family Sports Restaurant, at Bristol Motor Speedway. Fan-favorite Grave Digger, known as the world’s most famous monster truck, will make its debut in what is sure to be a high-flying, car-crushing good time.
Grave Digger will not be the only new truck, however, as Spiderman also will soar high above the crushed cars in Thunder Valley.
Several more trucks made popular by SPEED’s Monster Jam will be in the show, including Avenger, Brutus, Samson, Gunslinger and Bristol-based War Wizard.
The event will take place in the infield of Bristol Motor Speedway, giving the truck plenty of room to cause carnage.
Ford fanatics will want to visit Thunder Valley, July 9-10, for two days of exciting racing action during the Ford Blue Oval Bash.
High-performance racing action, Ford’s sweetest street machines and extreme exhibition vehicles make this one of the most exciting Ford events around.
Fans ready to prove they can tame a monster truck, will want to climb aboard the Stone Crusher Ford ride truck which will thrill fans throughout the event.
Action begins on Saturday with a test and tune session open to all manufacturers. The day also includes Ford vs. The World, an event that pits the Fords against all comers. Ford fans should come cheer their favorite brand to victory over the invading Chevys and Mopars.
Any Ford die-hard looking for special memorabilia or those hard-to-find parts also will want to check out the vendors’ midway and the swap meet and car corral.
Thunder Valley is busy all season with events for everyone. For more information and a full season schedule, visit www.bristoldragway.com or call (423) 764-DRAG.
