This weekend, Thunder Valley will be invaded by the ultimate motorcycle event, the Inaugural Thunder Valley Dragbike Shootout, June 24-26.

This new event will be the perfect place for street bike fans to come see the hottest drag bikes throw down for big money.

Racing at the Thunder Valley Dragbike Shootout is expected to be intense, as many of the top riders will be in attendance at the event competing in several diverse classes of competition.

The FBR Shop Pro Mod class will feature a 16-bike qualified field with some of the closest racing race fans can find on two wheels. This class races 1/8th-mile and showcases machines that run 170 mph in four seconds.

Mountain Motorsports Pro Street competitors will turn in speeds in excess of 200 mph on the fastest street-legal bikes in the country. These 600 horsepower wheelie machines are not for the faint of heart as each rider proves their courage every time they roll to the line to do battle.

Action also takes place in Nitrous Express Real Street, MTC Engineering Super Comp (8.90 index), Trac King Clutches Street Fighter (9.50 index) and Fast by Gast Top Gas (8.20 index). MPS Pro ET and Shinko Tires Street ET both will run bracket style.

Grudge racing sessions will be held on Friday and Saturday night. The Thunder Valley Dragbike Shootout also will feature a vendor and midway area.

A bike show will be held on Sunday and is free to enter with paid admission. Awards will be presented for Best of Show, Best Paint, Best V-Twin and Best Import.

Any make or model bike is eligible to compete during this event. Spectator admission is $10 Friday, and $15 Saturday or Sunday. A three day weekend pass is available for only $30.
