An old racing class will show off a few new tricks during the 2010 Fas Mart Street Fights Series in Thunder Valley.

Power Hour will be renamed the Fas Mart Street Fight Outlaws and will feature the fastest cars squaring off for the top prize each night.

Cars participating in the Street Fight Outlaws must run quicker than 11 seconds in the quarter-mile. The drivers also will be using the pro-tree format.

Participating drivers will be called to the lanes for two qualifying sessions to be held at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. (3 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Saturday events). The eight quickest machines will earn a spot in final eliminations, which begin at 9 p.m. (5 p.m. at Saturday races).

To keep things interesting, Bristol Dragway officials will place a bounty of $100 on the winner each week. The racer able to beat the "bountied" driver will take home the cash. For each consecutive win, the bounty will increase $100 until someone knocks the Outlaw off the top spot.

Racers will have to follow the same technical rules that have been enforced in the past. The top Outlaws can be followed on
