Anyone looking to satisfy their need for speed can pilot their vehicle to Bristol Dragway on Thursday, June 27 as Street Fights presented by ZRock 99.3 returns to Thunder Valley.

Hosted by local ACT Call Centers, the event provides all street-legal vehicles, ranging from muscle cars to minivans to motorcycles, the opportunity to challenge the legendary quarter-mile strip in a safe, controlled environment. The action-packed event also features 125 MPH Club and MPH Club Decal Night, Perfect Light Night and a rescheduled Power Hour competition.

Along with bragging rights, racers who complete a run at, or quicker than, the night's 125 mile per hour requirement will receive a spot in Bristol Dragway's 125 MPH Club and a special "club" decal. A $5 discount is available to any racer who has already proven their ability to accelerate through the valley and is displaying their previously earned decal when they arrive at the ticket gate.

For those racers confident in their skills as well as their speed, Perfect Light Night is back to recognize drivers able to achieve a .000 reaction time. Anyone able to accomplish the feat will receive a pass good for one free night of racing.

Power Hour is also back at Bristol Dragway, as the region's fastest street-legal machines battle for supremacy in Thunder Valley. At the end of the evening, the night's baddest rides flex their muscles in a best two-out-of three grudge match with the victors taking home a trophy declaring their dominance on the quarter-mile.

The 2013 Rookie Pass Program is also in affect this week, giving younger drivers the chance to showcase their talents behind the wheel. Designed to educate those who have just received their license, participating newcomers will receive access to experienced staff members and are able to race for free at any 2013 Street Fight event.

To participate in the Rookie Pass program, drivers must be 16 or 17 years of age, have a current driver's license and complete a minor waiver form, signed by both the participant and the parent/legal guardian (must be present to sign).

ACT Call Center Night also involves spectators in the night's racing action. Asking those in attendance to pick the winner of a grudge match between two ACT employees, fans who predict the victor will be entered to win a prize package that includes a pass good for one free night of racing in Thunder Valley. To vote, visit the ACT Call Center table located between the staging lanes and Thunder Valley grandstand.

Gates for next Thursday's event will open at 5 p.m. with racing scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Cost to participate is $10 to race, $15 for trailered cars, and $5 for spectators.
