Street legal rides return to tame Thunder Valley Thursday, Aug. 7 as Roadrunner Markets Street Fights roars back into Bristol Dragway after a month-long hiatus.

Northeast State hosts the series return which also features Power Hour and an opportunity to enter the track's 150 MPH Club.

The season's fourth Power Hour pits the night's eight fastest rides in head-to-head match-ups, earning the winner a trophy signifying their speed on the quarter-mile strip.

Dragway officials are tallying points of all Power Hour participants and at season's end the fastest rides take home the coveted Championship jacket and trophy.

Prior to eliminations, two qualifying rounds will set up the eight-car ladder.  The ninth and tenth qualifiers will be on standby in the event any of the qualified entries are unable to make their first round runs.

The 150 MPH Club also celebrates speed at Thursday's event, rewarding anyone who records a run at or quicker than the night's posted mile per hour requirement with a decal declaring their entry into the exclusive club.

Gates open Thursday at 5 p.m. with racing starting at 6 p.m. Cost to participate is $10 for racers, $15 for trailered cars and $5 for spectators.
