School is just around the corner and Northeast State and Bristol Dragway want to puts students on the “fast track” during the August 9 Taco Bell® Street Fights event.

Northeast State Night gives students one last chance to hit the track before they hit the books for the upcoming school year. One lucky person also will leave Thunder Valley with a new iPod Nano thanks to Northeast State.

Additionally, race fans will have a chance to check out the Northeast State School of Advanced Tech race car. Officials from Northeast State will be on hand to speak with individuals interested in learning more about the motorsports program.

Spectators also will be treated to the always thrilling Power Hour which brings the quickest eight cars of the evening up to the line in an all-out run to prove who has the baddest street car in the region.

Finally, the popular Taco Bell® gift card giveaway continues at each Street Fights event during the 2012 season. Anyone who brings a Taco Bell® receipt can register to win a Taco Bell® gift card which will be given away at the end of the night.

Anyone can take on the famous quarter-mile in Thunder Valley in their car, while their friends cheer from the grandstands. In a tough economy, an evening at Taco Bell® Street Fights is an obvious choice.

Spectator admission is just $5, while anyone with a street-legal car can challenge Thunder Valley for only $10.

Gates open at 5 p.m. on Thursday evening, with racing set for 6 p.m.
