To reward loyal Fas Mart Street Fights racers and spectators, Bristol Dragway officials have developed a new season pass to help them save money all season in Thunder Valley.

Beginning now, interested racers can purchase a five race pass for only $35. The pass represents a $15 savings, as regular racer admission pricing is $10 per event. Competitors can purchase as many passes as they want for the 2011 season.

Once purchased, racers simply show their pass at the gate upon arrival. The pass will be punched at each event. Once all five punches are used, racers may purchase another five-race pass.

A spectator pass also is available for purchase and is $20 for five events. Spectators will save 20% by picking up this pass, which will function in the same way as the racer pass.

There is no limit to the number of passes that can be purchased, allowing spectators and racer to create their own season package.

Passes will be sold at Fas Mart Street Fights events throughout the 2011 season. Anyone wishing to purchase a pass prior to the season opener, may contact Amy Denton at (423) 989-6930.

Continuing to prove its popularity, Bristol’s Fas Mart Street Fights series celebrates its 11th season in 2011. Street Fights provides everyone with a driver’s license the chance to race in legendary Thunder Valley. From import tuners and American muscle, to minivans and motorcycles, the Fas Mart Street Fights series welcomes anyone to challenge the track in their own vehicle.

The 2011 schedule is comprised of 17 Street Fights events, with the season opener Saturday, April 2. The majority of events run on Thursday evenings, with three slated for Saturdays.

Gates open for the season opener on April 2 at noon; racing begins at 1 p.m. Spectator admission is just $5, while racer admission is $10. Five-event racer passes will be available at the event for $35.
