Great Clips grudge matches welcome back Roadrunner Market Street Fights after a three-week hiatus from the legendary Thunder Valley straight strip.

One racing pair, randomly chosen from e-mail and Facebook entries, square off in a best two-out-of-three grudge match ending with a year's worth of free haircuts for the winner and a shaved head for the loser.

Every racer and fan receives a $3 off coupon for any Great Clips location in the Tri-Cities.

Racers are encouraged to challenge their friends or rivals to the Great Clips Grudge Match by sending information about their pairing via e-mail to Kyle Rodriguez or through a direct message to Bristol Dragway's Facebook page. Dragway officials will select participants by random draw at Thursday's event.

Power Hour also makes its return Thursday, as the night's eight fastest rides will go head-to-head, earning the winner's trophy signifying their speeds on the quarter-mile strip.

Dragway officials have been tallying points of all Power Hour participants and at the end of the year the fastest rides will take home the Championship jacket and trophy.

Prior to eliminations, two qualifying rounds will set up the eight-car ladder.  The ninth and tenth qualifiers will be on standby in the case that any of the qualified entries are unable to make their first round runs.

Gates open Thursday at 5 p.m. with racing starting at 6 p.m. Cost to participate is $10 for racers, $15 for trailered cars and $5 for spectators. Anyone who purchased tickets for the Saturday, March 29 Street Fights may show their ticket at the gate to receive free admission to one additional 2014 Street Fights event.
