Door cars and dragsters from across the country roar back into Thunder Valley May 16 -19 for four days of big-money bracket racing. With more than $30,000 in racer appreciation giveaways and three $20,000-to-win races, Bristol Dragway's fourth annual K&N Spring Fling 20's presented by Sparco promises to be an unforgettable experience for racers and fans alike.

"Bristol has a lot of tradition and is well-known across the United States as one of the premier racing facilities," said event co-founder Kyle Seipel. "Bracket racers aren't necessarily used to this level of venue. Racing here gives us the opportunity to treat them like professionals and provide them with a lot more exposure than they're used to."

Accounting for the quarter-mile racing preferred by Northern racers and the eighth-mile racing favored by those in the South, long time bracket competitors Seipel and Peter Biondo split the difference and developed the 1000-ft. compromise featured in the Spring Fling 20's.

Adding a new twist to this year's event, the team partnered with Wiseco Performance Products to create an overall champion point fund, splitting $8,750 among the five racers who win the most rounds during the weekend.

"We are excited that a quality company like Wiseco sees value in giving back to bracket racers and getting involved in our event," said Biondo. "Kyle and I feel an overall points champion adds excitement to our event and gives racers another goal to shoot for."

In addition to big money payouts, racers will compete for high dollar prizes.

The winner of Friday night's Dragster Shootout earns a $16,000 2013 American or RaceTech dragster; a $5,000 set of SR20 cylinder heads by Brodix goes to the winner of Saturday's shootout between the weekend's best overall package in both classes.
