NHRA Funny Car Champion Matt Hagan Visits Speedway In Lights
The two-time NHRA champion and Christianburg, Va. native is scheduled to sign autographs and meet fans from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the infield Christmas Village.
Open for its 18th season, Ford Speedway In Light treats guests to a sparkling winter wonderland complete with a ride down the Thunder Valley straight strip, a trip around the World's Fastest Half-Mile and a visit with Santa Claus in the infield Christmas Village.
The more than four-mile route features over two million twinkling bulbs and 250 dazzling displays, along with the show's latest animated addition - Santa Vision.
Ford Speedway In Lights powered by TVA is open nightly from 6 - 10 p.m., including Christmas Day. Entry for cars is $12 Sun. - Thurs. and $15 Fri. - Sat. Cost for activity vans is $20 and buses are $85.
Ford Speedway In Lights is the primary fundraiser for the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities which has raised nearly $9 million in support of children's agencies across Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia since its inception in 1997.
