Bowties invade Thunder Valley Sept. 26-28 as one of the largest Super Chevy Shows in the country cruises into Bristol Dragway. For more than 30 years, the Bristol show has produced exhilarating bracket and exhibition racing along with the ultimate evening of extreme entertainment - Beef 'O' Brady's Thunder Valley Mayhem presented by Thompson Metal Services.

Featuring over 40 different classes, the weekend's Super Chevy car show boasts an impressive selection of the region's best classic and modern makes. These show machines are displayed in mint condition as owners vie for top honors in Thunder Valley along with the chance to have their ride featured in Super Chevy magazine. Cost to participate in the judged car show is $45 or $35 for the non-judged Show-n-Shine.

Gearheads should also put a visit to the swap meet and car corral on their weekend schedule. With more than 300 swap meet vendors, the Performance and Restoration Marketplace is the ideal resource for hobbyists seeking those hard-to-find used parts needed for their latest restoration project.

On Saturday night, Thunder Valley Mayhem ignites Bristol Dragway as jet dragsters and pro mods flash down the quarter mile, fire-breathing Megasaurus wreaks car-crushing chaos, Team FMX performs high-flying stunts, the world's fastest wheel stander tames the straight strip and a fireworks extravaganza explodes over Thunder Valley.
